G TAMIM, bay stallion, born 1993
Breeder: Paolo Gucci
Owners: LTF Arabians, Crick Family, UK

G Tamim hardly needs an introduction - he is revered throughout the world for his exquisite head, breathtaking type and his unequalled Arabian flair. This amazing stallion who was imported to Qatar by Sheikh Hamad Al Thani of the Al Shaqab Stud in Qatar, began his great show career as a yearling when he achieved the championship honours at the Qatar International Show and was named Reserve World Champion Colt.

A year later G Tamim gained the Reserve Championship at the All Nations Cup in Aachen. In 1996 he crowned his string of successes with the supreme title of World Champion Colt in Paris.

The myth that showing success and athletic ability are not compatible, was refuted by G Tamim winning the National Championships under saddle in Qatar. This excellent individual of the Arabian breed is a son of the Polish stallion, Pilot who was cheif sire at the Halsdon Arabian Stud in Great Britain.

Pilot was Champion Stallion at the UK International and at the Swedish National Show in Blommerod. His sire, Fawor, was Junior World Champion in 1983, European Cup race winner in 1984 and Polish National Champion in 1990. Fawor was a cheif sire in Poland and is the producer of many show and race winners.

Pilot's dam, the gorgeous "Dream of Poland", Pipi was European and Polish National Champion Mare.

G Tamim's dam Shahteyna was named US National Champion Mare in 1987. She is a full sister to the 1992 US and Canadian National Champion Mare, Bey Teyna. Shahteyna's dam, TW Forteyna is one of the leading dams of champions in the USA. Shahteyna is one of the best daughters of the legendary Bey Shah who was the leading living sire of champions in the USA until his death in 1999 with over 300 champion offspring to his credit.

G Tamim is legacy to these generations of excellenece and has produced some excellent foals, retained by the Al Shaqab Stud and LTF Arabians.
